#24216 Clíona McCarthy: Thank you so much for asking me to take part in this Music of Kiniya series. I’ve always been fascinated by how music is so closely linked to our memories and how it can conjure up an image so strong, that it immediately brings us back to that special time or place. I chose this song to perform as it reminds me of summer days at chapel, soaking up the Vermont sunshine while being surrounded by the views of Lake Champlain. It was a song that I got to sing at chapel, with some of my fellow staff members, on my last day of camp last year. Shout out to Annie Vernon who came up with the lyric change to this song, which ties it even more beautifully to Camp Kiniya. I hope this song takes you back there just like it does for me.
