THANK YOU AND WELCOME 2021!

We are so thankful for the opportunity to lead a community that is resilient in the face of hardships and that spreads love and joy and hope for a brighter future – even when we are not together on the shores of Lake Champlain.

Through the last six weeks of 2020, we offered a huge challenge to our Community. Having secured a Matching Fund, we needed to raise an additional $600,000 by December 31st to release the match in order to end the year without incurring additional debt. In true Dudley and Kiniya fashion, our community showed up and together we met the challenge. As the New Year’s clock struck midnight, it was clear that all matching funds had been claimed! SILVER LININGS

2020 was a challenging year. We don’t want to diminish the hardships that were faced, but we want to highlight our community’s positive outcomes and silver linings during 2020.

Making the most of less-than-ideal situations is a staple of a “Camp” person. Your Extravaganza was rained out? Not a problem. Your team lost a championship game? No sweat.

2020 changed your plans? Tell us about your positive life changes, life choices, career and personal opportunities seized, and any other silver linings you may have after reflecting on your year.

We recently heard from #17525 Pete “Shorty” Treiber and #23296 Emily Reusswig on their silver linings of 2020.

OPEN LETTERS ON DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION AT CAMP

The Camp Dudley Board of Trustees is committed to confront racism and injustice where we find it, including in ourselves. In support of those goals, we are publishing two open letters — one from Board Chair Whitney Phelps and one from former Dudley Leader #17309 Chris Inniss — to our community concerning diversity, equity and inclusion at Camp. The Board has also created a process for others in the community to share their experiences and traumas by emailing us at DEI@campdudley.org.  We invite these stories, both hard and hopeful, with one goal: to make Camp Dudley and Camp Kiniya a more inclusive place for every current and future member of our community. APPLICATION REMINDER

We are accepting applications for the summer of 2021 at Dudley & Kiniya! It’s going to be a historic summer ahead at both of our camps so don’t miss out on the action. You can apply now or if you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact us at registration@campdudley.org.

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE THAT WOULD LOVE CAMP?

Our best resource for reaching families who are interested in a summer at Dudley and Kiniya is you. If you know someone who would love a summer at one of our camps then the easiest thing to do is to submit a Refer a Camper form and we’ll follow up with them with additional information. Helping connect us to new families is one of the best ways that you can give back to Camp.
