#15293 Jerome “J.J.” Alexander’s first camp experience began in 1990 as a Senior in William’s Cabin under the leadership of #11887 Bill Manning. He loved camp so much that he returned the following year as an Aide. Little did he know that this was the summer that would change his life. At the end of the camp season, Willie and Louis Schmidt asked J.J. to live with them and attend school in Westport. J.J. lived with the Schmidts for three years until he graduated from Westport Central School in 1994.

J.J. currently works for Con Edison in NYC, where he is the Indirect Shared Services Supply Chain Section Manager. In 1998, he graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a B.A. in Anthropology. In 2015, he attended Mercy University and received a Dual Concentration M.B.A. in International Business and Marketing. In 2020, he received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Boston University and in 2021, he completed his M.S. in Global Supply Chain Management from Boston University. He currently lives in Katonah, New York, with his wife Monica and two children, #26293 Anastacia and #26993 Rome. Anastacia, who spent her first summer at Kiniya in 2021, attends The Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Rome attends Iona Prep in New Rochelle, N.Y., and started as a Cub in 2023.
