Micro-Internship Program
Build your resume and skills while also helping Camp! Below are several micro-internship projects that we have put together for some important initiatives that we’re hoping to complete before the end of this year. If you would like to apply for one of these projects then please send an email to Evan George – evan@campdudley.org – letting him know what you’re interested in and include your resume. Please apply by September 18.
1 – LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
We are looking for someone to help us build and organize a Dudley & Kiniya Leadership Curriculum around an already existing set of development modules and other content. This project would be ideal for someone interested in or currently studying human development, organizational management, education, or human resources. This project could accommodate up to 3 people.

2 – PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
We are looking for someone to help us build and organize a Dudley & Kiniya Program Guide that articulates the specific and important aspects of each camper year. This project would be ideal for someone interested in or currently studying education or child psychology. Preferably, we’re looking for two people to coordinate on this project – one from Kiniya and one from Dudley – and we’d hope that they have experience in each year of the Dudley & Kiniya camper program.

3 – ALUMNI OF COLOR RESEARCH PROJECT
Dudley & Kiniya are looking for support in a project to research minority representation on campus throughout our history. This project would be more focused on Dudley history. Primarily, this would involve research on our online archives of The Last Whistle and CD News. In particular, this would look at researching campers, leaders, and staff of color and helping us find ways to more fully understand their experience at camp. This project would be of interest to anyone interested in diversity, equity, and inclusion, history, or archival research.

4 – COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECT
We are looking for someone to help us with Community outreach to donors who have contributed to the 2020 Dudley & Kiniya Leader Staff Grant Fund. This would require you to make personal phone calls on behalf of the 2020 Leaders and Staff who received a grant this summer and thanking them for the support. This project would be good for someone interested in non-profit leadership, business, or sales.

5 – ALUMNI OUTREACH PROJECT
Support Camp’s work in connecting with alumni. This would focus on calling older alumni for whom we do not have email contact in our system. This project would be good for someone interested in non-profit leadership, business, or sales.

6 – DUDLEY OUTDOORS PROGRAM PROJECT
Build out Dudley’s backcountry trip briefing packets for trips in the Adirondacks. This is a remote project, but could also include trips to the Adirondacks to scope out trailheads and parking areas. 7 – SPIRITUALITY PROGRAM PROJECT
Using existing materials and working with Dudley & Kiniya year-round staff, develop and produce a Vesper Program packet to help with not only training on how to run quality vespers, but also resources to generate ideas throughout the summer. This project would also include outreach to some current and former Leaders to get thoughts on materials that we could be using more. This project is good for those interested in education, psychology, or religious studies.

9 – HISTORICAL CAMP DATA PROJECT
Primarily focused on Camp Dudley, this would involve research in our online archive of The Last Whistle. We’re looking for someone to help us understand some important data points for camp over the last five decades. This would include researching campus population by camper, leader, staff; camp dates; minority representation; and more. This project is great for anyone interested in history, archival research, or data analysis.
