From time to time, a Dudley alumnus creates an artistic masterpiece that holds a unique attraction for the Dudley community. This summer, staff member and Brodie artist-in-residence, #14484 Anthony Fatato, created the latest painting. In August, Anthony completed “Swim Point Sunrise,” which was featured on the cover of the Last Whistle. The sale of this painting and limited edition prints will, in part, support the Willie J. Schmidt Scholarship Fund.   

Anthony worked with campers and staff during the summer of 2021 to enrich and develop their fine arts skills. Campers benefited from his professional background and experience during their visit to the Brodie Arts and Crafts center. Anthony also runs a foundation called World Education Endeavor. WE Endeavor.org is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization creating education, job training, and employment opportunities based on individual passions. 

As of this writing, the original 21” by 70” oil on canvas painting is available for sale. You can order limited edition prints as well. Proceeds from all sales will equally benefit the Willie J.
