Survey for Dudley and Kiniya: A Vision for the Future
Survey Closes on December 31, 2013 – please share your thoughts today!
This year the Camp Dudley, Inc. Board of Managers and our two Camp Directors began a full-scale update of our strategic plan. Written ten years ago and updated once since then, we believe that now is a great time to reassess how far we have come in the past ten years, and to think through the future plans for our two great camps. While many strategic plans focus immediately on tangible changes in facilities, we would like to assess our positioning and opportunities from first principles to ensure that we are providing the program that is most consistent with, and in support of our mission. With your collective inputs, we can then address any resource shortfalls from there. We are fortunate to have such a sound history and tradition to build on as we seek to sustain our mission comfortably into the future.
To that end, we invite you to share your thoughts and opinions, and even a story or two, about your experience at Camp Dudley and/or Camp Kiniya and where our camps should be headed in the future. Your input is important to us as we think about how Dudley “Develops the Whole Person” and how to meet this objective for years to come.
The survey should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Most of the questions are Yes/No questions or questions where you are asked to rate your opinion about a statement or issue on a 1 – 10 scale. There are also several free text boxes where you can share some additional thoughts.
At the end of the survey we invite you to tell us a story about your experience at Dudley or Kiniya (or both!). Often the deep sense of pride and appreciation we feel for our camps cannot be captured in a Yes/No or rated question, so this is your chance to expand on your experience and the Dudley magic that has touched us all.
We expect that many of the stories will prove inspirational, not only to the Board and the Directors, but to the Dudley family at large. So if you are willing to have your story shared with the larger Dudley family (perhaps through publication in the Camp Dudley News) please check the box following the story signifying your permission for us to share your story. If you do not check the box we will fully respect your right to privacy and we will not share it beyond Marnie, Matt and the members of the Board.
Thank you for your willingness to contribute to the vision of Camp Dudley and Camp Kiniya.
