Whitney comes to Dudley as the only daughter of a second-generation Dudley camper. She spent many summers at camp reunions and hoped that someday there would be a girls camp equivalent. Her two daughters—Sydney #22498 and Sophia #22708 —will now be able to have the experiences Camp Dudley offers and that her – grandfather, Sydney Phelps #4121, dad, Jud, #8498 and brothers # 11738 Wyeth and #12354 Chris had.
Whitney is a share holder in the Health and FDA Business Group in Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Albany office. Her practice focuses on New York state and federal health care regulatory and transactional matters. She has facilitated managed care negotiations and has arranged innovative, complex joint venture arrangements between providers and managed care organizations, with special attention in the long term care space. She has published articles for the American Health Lawyers Association, and currently serves as a board member for the Riverbrook School of Stockbridge, MA.
Whitney is looking forward to helping in shaping and guiding Dudley’s policy and says, “Dudley is not just a regular YMCA, but rather a magical place that allows young girls and boys to explore sports, arts, their spirituality and leadership abilities while instilling within each of them essential qualities for building a strong moral character.”
