Scott Martin #12289

Scott was a Cub in 1978 in Syracuse Lodge with Steve Schmidt as his Leader and fellow board member, Andy Rosenburgh, as his cabin mate. A letter from Scott to his family had made it to print in the 1978 Last Whistle. It read, “When I got here it was very strange. But after a few days I made a lot of friends. The first day of tryouts I did not do so well in basketball but I got on a team called the Quest. Doug Schmidt made up a lot of funky cheers!” Scott attended Dudley for four years as a camper and one year as a JL in 1983 with Steve “Goody” Goodwin as his Leader.
Born and raised in Chappaqua, NY, Scott graduated from Hobart and William Smith College where he met his wife, Andrea. At Hobart, Scott played varsity football for four years and won the Bob Toner award for leadership in his senior year.
Currently scott serves as the Chairman and CEO of Remedy Analytics, the company he founded in May of 2011. Remedy Analytics engages proprietary technology to create and quantify prescription benefits savings for large corporations. Prior to Remedy, Scott successfully sold his two companies, Martin Human Resources and Martin Benefits Consulting to Brown & Brown, a NYSE company. Scott began his career helping to build Oxford Health Plans from a small start-up to a dominant player in the managed care arena. His success played a major role in helping Oxford to become one of the fastest growing companies in the country and preeminent health plan in the New York Tri-State region.
Scott and Andrea live in New Canaan, CT with their three children, Lilly #20409, Mack #21289 and Lucy #20989.
